Ryoya is the first SD Graffiti boy to be released. His body is an upgraded version of the SD13 boy body, with the jointing system and stylistics based on the SD17 boy body. He has the same hands and feet parts as the SD13 boy body, and he is the same height and with the same overall basic measurements, so he can wear SD13 boy clothing without problem. However he seems to be somewhat slimmer overall in the torso region. Like the SD17 boy, he has a double-jointed torso, double-jointed elbows, double-jointed knees, and a swivel thigh joint.
Although Ryoya was originally intended to only be available for sale until 全部卖完 on the day of Dolpa 21, due to the overwhelming demand from fans in advance of the event, Volks decided to offer a limited number of pre-orders for him as well once the actual numbers of him 全部卖完. Pre-orders also 全部卖完 completely and are due to be delivered in mid 7月.
Those who purchase Ryoya will be given a special application form to apply for 'Ryoya's Suisei Academy Junior High School Uniform' if they wish to purchase it.
Ryoya comes with his left ear pierced to allow you to insert his earring. He is the first Super Dollfie boy to come with a piercing, and one of only two ever. (The other is Olivia 2nd.)
Ryoya is a part of the '东京少年物语' story arc, along with Shirou, Tsukasa, Isao, Yukinojo, Jun, Olivia, and 绫濑亚美. He is the new protagonist of 'Chapter Two' of the story, which is set four years after the initial story.
In some shots Ryoya has been pictured with a Tsukasa on an SD17 body. However this version of Tsukasa is not being released, and is a display model only, perhaps to emphasis the time that has passed since Chapter One of the story.
