Renée is a part of the '无尽夜晚之旅: Chapter 2' story arc along with Alain. Their story is based on the well-known fairytale "Puss in Boots".
Renée was the only Dolpa 18 doll not available at the physical in-store After Event in Japan; she was only available via Volks' Japanese website After Event. As such, her 2ndhand market price was somewhat higher than usual SD Cute.
