Licht was Volks' first SD boy ever released, due to overwhelming demand from fans who were resorting to modifying girl bodies to make their own boys.
Licht and Leona were twin brother and sister dolls who both had the FCS old F-09 (now F-06) headmold. The dolls were based off of a pair of optional part dolls that popular manga artist Jille Washio had created. Licht was originally limited to 50, but due to his popularity, two more runs of 50 were released, making a total of 150.
